Hours: Full time hours, 0 hour contract.
Location: Melton Constable (NR24) - Full Drivers Licence is required due to the location of the service.

About you
Are you enthusiastic, compassionate and committed to supporting people in a way which respects their dignity?
You will need to be adaptable, flexible, with excellent communication skills and able to work as part of our team. Our service is rurally located and there is not always public transport available therefore your own transport would be desirable.
Qualifications
* Care experience
* First aid certification
* Nursing home or care home experience
* Experience in providing care for residents diagnosed with learning disabilities
* Medication administration skills
* Ability to provide home care services
* Knowledge of assisted living practices
* Experience in patient care
* Valid driver's license
* Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks
* Proficiency in meal preparation
* Experience in developing care plans
* Skills in behavior management

The role
* Provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower the people we support to achieve their goals and aspirations, respecting everyone’s individuality and enabling them to make appropriate choices to live the life they wish, in line with their individual support plans.
* Promote the health, well-being, physical, emotional, cultural and spiritual beliefs of the people we support and ensure they are met in an inclusive way.

About The Service
Swanton House is set in delightful, mature grounds extending to some 22 acres in North Norfolk. We are registered to support up to 49 individuals within our 3 smaller separate homes, each one can offer both Residential and Nursing Care to the people we support. Our specialist service supports people who have complex health needs and mental health issues.
