We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified Teacher (QTS) to provide tailored tuition to students who are currently out of formal education. This role is ideal for experienced educators who wish to make a meaningful impact on students who require additional support due to special educational needs (SEN), exclusion, illness, or other circumstances preventing them from attending mainstream schooling.
As a QTS Tutor, you will work closely with students, parents, and local authorities to deliver high-quality, personalised education that fosters academic progress and confidence. This is a rewarding opportunity for educators looking to provide one-to-one or small group tuition in a flexible setting.

- Location - Oxford
- Position - one to one tutor
- Type of work - Contract
- Start date - ASAP
- Duration / Likely Duration - dependent on each student
- Contract type - Temporary
- Full time/part time - Part time and full time depending on availability
- Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate £25 per hour
- Hours - Working hours can differentiate, minimum 1 hour per session and a maximum of 3 hours per session
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
- QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS or equivalent
- 6 months+ experience working in a UK school
- Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
