We are looking for a dynamic individual with a strong clinical background to join our team of Rotational Specialist Pharmacists. You will have the opportunity to work as part of our ward-based Medical Pharmacist service, working alongside the MDT, including our existing team of specialist and highly specialist pharmacists. You will also have opportunities to work in surgical specialties and other pharmacy services as part of the specialist rotational team.
The focus for this post is to take an active role in the pharmaceutical care of a range of conditions and advise clinicians. Participation in MDT ward rounds and prescribing of medicines to ensure a seamless transfer of care will be expected. You must be able to work both as part of a team and autonomously. Prescribing is a key part of this role – you will be supported to undertake the training if you do not already hold the qualification.
This post is for full time employment. However,we would consider alternative working patterns dependent on requirements.Please specify within your application if required.All staff are required to work 1 in 10 weekends with corresponding time off given during the week. All staff are required to undertake at least one bank holiday duty per year. All rotas are subject to review at any time.
