There are Full time positions & Part time roles available 37.5 hours - Shift pattern Monday - Sunday 1200-2000 22.5 hours 0700 - 1500 28.5 hours M-Thurs 1500-2000 and Friday 0800-1700 The successful candidate will providing a focused administration service within the Clinical Administration Inpatients Department. We are looking to recruit a flexible, dynamic, and motivated ward administrators for our fast paced and friendly Inpatient Team to help ensure adequate coverage of duties across a defined group of wards and departments,. You will be working to ensure the efficient and timely admission, transfer, and discharge of patients, dealing with patients' medical notes and being responsible for the accurate and timely input of information into our PAS system for the purposes of patient care and data quality Main duties of the job You will be required to work in close contact with patients, relatives and a multidisciplinary team of nurses, doctors, physiotherapists & pharmacists amongst other professionals. You will be one of the first faces our patients and relatives will see when they first walk into our hospital, and you will have to deal with queries face-to-face, on the phone and via email. For this reason the post holder will have excellent communication and spelling skills alongside the ability to multi task and remain calm under pressure.
