The Copthorne Hotel Manchester are seeking an experienced Reception Shift Leader to provide a warm welcome, helpful and efficient service to guests.

As Reception Shift Leader your key responsibilities include:
* Providing a friendly and efficient service to guests, ensuring company policy and procedures are complied with, consistently.
* Dealing with guest queries/complaints promptly and communicating with the Duty Manager, as appropriate.
* Providing accurate shift handovers ensuring all items requiring attention are detailed in handover diary and the shift checklist is completed to the required standard.
* Ensuring all reports are updated regularly throughout the day.
* Ensuring all information is communicated to the relevant department in the interest of providing excellent customer service.
* Assisting the Front Office Manager with the smooth running of the department, including supervision and training of the Reception team.
We are keen to hear from applicants with the following:
* Previous Reception experience within a quality hotel.
* Excellent knowledge of computerised Front Office system, e.g., OPERA.
* Excellent communications skills.
* A positive, ‘can do’ attitude.
* The ability to work well under pressure.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Ability to work on a rota basis, including weekend work. Typical shifts are 07:00-15:30 or 14:30-23:00, as the business requires.
