Personal assistant required for a happy and cheeky seven-year-old boy who lives in Falmouth.
He has complex health and learning needs. He is non-verbal, with limited mobility, and he is a wheelchair user. He uses a tablet as a communication aid.
A personal assistant would support him to access the community to develop his social interaction and communication skills and to spend time doing what he loves most - observing people and the world around him, and interacting with new people outside of his family unit.
He loves music, books, buses and train rides. He likes to keep moving, and his favourite activities include visiting ASDA, going for walks, and people watching.
He is fun to be around, has a good sense of humour and he loves being the centre of attention.
The rate of pay starts at £12.60 per hour, with potential increases based on skills and experience.
Eight hours per week are available, and this is flexible. Weekend and school holiday availability will be required. Some personal care may be required.

The successful applicant will be employed under a private arrangement with the family, and not be employed or carry out work for Cornwall Council.
