About the role

We're currently recruiting for a dedicated People Partner to join our dynamic team within our Best Food Logistics business.
If you have strong people partnering experience, a background working with Trade Unions, and thrive in a blue-collar environment, we want to hear from you!
This role looks after 1 main site (Banbury) which you'll need to be based from around 4 days a week, with 1 day working from home, as well as a satellite site (Taunton) which will require monthly visits.
You will be responsible for
* Partner with key stakeholders to develop and implement people strategies that drive business growth.
* Provide expert advice on complex employee relations cases, ensuring compliance with policies and employment law.
* Manage talent, support development, and succession planning.
* Work on organisational design and change management initiatives.
* Use data to support people-focused initiatives.
* Champion colleague engagement, wellbeing, and diversity, equity, and inclusion.
* Focus on performance and absence management.
* Maintain strong relationships with Trade Union representatives.
You will need
* CIPD Level 5 would be advantageous but not essential
* Strong people partnering experience
* Experience with Trade Unions and ideally in a blue-collar environment
* Excellent communication and influencing skills
* Knowledge of employment law and employee relations management
* A commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion
* People Management experience
* Experience in a fast-paced environment, such as distribution or retail
