They are seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join a small team based in their Lancaster office.
Job Description
As a Credit Controller you will be responsible for:
3. Manage client accounts, ensuring timely payments
4. Review financial documents for accuracy and compliance
5. Work closely with the Accounting & Finance team to address and resolve financial discrepancies
6. Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders
7. Identify and implement strategies to improve cash flow and reduce bad debt
8. Prepare and present financial reports
9. Participate in financial audits
10. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and guidelines
The Successful Applicant
A successful Credit Controller should have:
11. A background in Finance, Accounting or a related field
12. Strong understanding of financial regulations and principles
13. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
14. Experience in the insurance industry
15. Proficiency in financial software programs
16. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
17. Detail-oriented and analytical thinking
