3. Hours: Full time - 37.5 hours per week (Some late nights (twilight hours))
4. Salary: £39,205 - £47,084 Per Annum, inclusive of HCAS

Job Overview
Are you looking for a new challenge and interested in sexual health? Sexual Health Hertfordshire has a vacancy for a Band 6 Health Advisor. The role of the Health Adviser within the clinic is to provide advice, information, education, treatment, and counselling to patients diagnosed with a sexually transmitted infection such as chlamydia, gonorrhoea, herpes, HIV, syphilis, and hepatitis. Health Advisers participate in the management of test results, conduct partner notification, and ensure the attendance and treatment of contacts. The role also includes safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults.

Applicant Requirements
Education/Qualification
* RGN/ RMN OR Educated to post graduate diploma level in health promotion, psychology, social work, or another similar field.
Experience
* Previous experience of working as a Sexual Health Adviser or in another relevant healthcare setting
* Previous experience of 1:1 work with patients in a sexual health/health promotion context
Skills and Knowledge
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Good clinical knowledge of STIs and HIV
* Good knowledge of partner notification principles and practices
* Excellent IT skills including Outlook, Word, and Excel
