Finance Manager Annual Salary: £45k - £50k Location: Hybrid after training (3 days in the office, 2 days from home) Job Type: Full-time We are seeking a Finance Manager to join our client's fantastic team in Birmingham. This role is crucial for preparing monthly and annual financial statements, managing the annual budgeting process, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory financial reporting requirements. The successful candidate will also oversee a team of four accounts administrative staff and manage various financial and administrative functions. Day-to-day of the role: Prepare management accounts, financial statements, and cash flow forecasts. Monitor budgets and financial performance, providing insights and recommendations. Ensure compliance with tax regulations (VAT, PAYE, Corporation Tax) and liaise with HMRC when needed. Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timely payments. Monitor payroll processing and ensure compliance with UK employment regulations. Administer health insurance and pension schemes, and manage miscellaneous administrative functions as needed. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in financial management and the preparation of accounts. Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy in financial management. Excellent administrative and organisational skills. Experience working within an SME environment.
