An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and professional individual to develop professionally within the role of Deputy Ward Manager Ward B2, Ysbyty Cwm Rhondda.
The post is a Permanent appointment, with a hour contract as Deputy Ward Manager and weare looking for an enthusiastic individual, who has the ability and passion to work within our friendly ward team.
Ysbyty Cwm Rhondda is continuously expanding its services and we require a Deputy Ward Manager who has the ambition to help drive these changes and help expand the services we offer.
A commitment to undertake ongoing training and development is essential.

Ysbyty Cwm Rhondda is a Community Hospital situated close to this hospital we support the acute services, which allows for discharge planning.
The work is varied and requires a good range of clinical skills and offers a degree of autonomy within a supportive and friendly environment.
Main duties of the job

You will be able to work and lead as part of a large multi-disciplinary team, demonstrating excellent communication skills and an ability to work effectively with the ward team in a very busy and fast paced environment to deliver excellent standards of patient care.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

4. Registered General Nurse Level 1/2 or Degree in Nursing or an equivalent qualification
5. Evidence of continuous professional development in relevant sphere

9. Sufficient post registration experience of working in an acute or community hospital.
10. Organizational, interpersonal and operational skills needed for post management of resources planning and delivery of direct patient care.
