Customer Experience Manager - Porters Ski Area
This is a new and exciting full-time role at Porters Alpine Resort.
Porters is the closest ski area to Christchurch and caters for all abilities of skier and snowboarder during winter.
Over summer and winter, Porters operates a popular lodge, restaurant and bar, which is a hub for outdoor activities in the Craigieburn Range.
You will be responsible for leading a team that delivers exceptional customer service to our guests, and engaging with them via social media platforms. Blending aspects of brand development, marketing and guest services, this is a varied role, focused around our core winter and summer operations.

Key responsibilities:
1. Management of ticketing system.
2. Responding to all guest enquiries.
3. Management of all social media channels including the lodge.
4. Working with the marketing team on creation of content strategy.
5. Working with the marketing team to develop strategic partnerships.
6. Engage with existing and seek out new corporate partners.
7. Assist with winter recruitment for the ticket office team, and lead this team in the winter season.
8. Create a guest-focused culture within the ticket office team.
9. Gain feedback from guests on the services and facilities provided and work with the management team to identify areas of improvement.
10. Work within all agreed operating budgets for revenue and costs.
11. Maintain a safe and secure environment by adhering to all H&S procedures.
A little about you:
1. Great customer service skills & experience dealing with guest requests.
2. Be familiar with Microsoft 365 suite & ideally ticketing systems, but training will be provided.
3. Experience in marketing & social media.
4. Excellent written and spoken English. Copywriting skills preferable.
5. Highly motivated self-starter who takes initiative.
6. Great organisational skills and a team player.
7. An interest in the outdoors, with a passion for skiing & mountain biking would be advantageous.
