THE ROLE
* We are looking start the successful candidate by 24 March 2025, to this exciting and impactful role demands enthusiasm, energy, resilience, and a commitment to excellence. Key responsibilities include:
* Manage the Aquatic Programme: To plan, review and assist the venue management teams to ensure the best use of pool time.
* Develop the Learn to Swim Programme: To take the lead role in the management of our award winning learn to swim and school swimming programmes across 4 venues by creating a successful pathway for swimmers to progress through the aquatics framework.
* Achieve Commercial Targets: Together with the venues management teams, you will be responsible for meeting income, occupancy and attendance along with other agreed performance indicators.
* Build Community Relationships: Lead in developing relationships with local groups, clubs, and schools to offer an inclusive pool programme for the entire community.
* Workforce Development: Continue developing the existing team and attract new members. Provide strong leadership, regularly observe programme delivery quality, give feedback, and ensure training and development requirements are met.
The role is predominantly Monday to Friday, 9.00 a.m. – 2.00.p.m., but you will be expected to periodically work evenings and weekends.

ABOUT YOU
* You will be able to demonstrate:
* Passion for and strong understanding of Aquatics
* Experience in managing and delivering swimming lesson programmes
* Knowledge of Learn to Swim schemes, including School Swimming programme delivery
* Commercial acumen with experience in budget management and improving financial performance
* Positive attitude with the ability to enthuse and motivate a team
* High levels of self-motivation, interpersonal, and communication skills
* Excellent organisational, time management, and influencing skills
* Proficiency in IT, literacy, and numeracy
* A valid, full driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes
