Are you ready for a new senior role that involves changing pharmacy services within our Community Mental Health Teams? Can you rise to a challenge, help to develop our clinical services to our patients and motivate the team?
This position is for you.
Mental Health Clinical Pharmacy services in BCUHB are developing at pace and we are now in a position to offer a senior pharmacy technician role to actively lead, guide and support our newly established pharmacy teams.
Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board is committed to caring for our patients within their own communities with care provided closer to home. This concept is not new for mental health services but we now need to develop further and need pharmacy champions within our community teams to drive the transformation agenda forward.
Main duties of the job
You will be pivotal in this initiative and work with colleagues across primary and secondary care to identify, plan and embed new innovative pharmacy services to help our teams support patients throughout their journey.
You will be supported all the way and have autonomy in decision making processes but also have the support of the specialist team in achieving mutual shared outcomes. Possibilities for personal self-development are plentiful.
Experience in mental health is highly desirable but not essential - a desire to learn, educate others and promote a positive 'can do' attitude along with professional development of self and team are ideal qualities to help create a service that you can be proud of from the very start - you will be able to input positively from day one, shaping the working model directly in real time for the benefit of our patients and their communities.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
