A full-time (1.0 FTE) opportunity is available for a Homebased Therapist as part of the Child/Family Services Team. This individual must possess strong, effective written and verbal communication skills, working knowledge of techniques and principles of child and family development, family systems theory, trauma-informed care, crisis intervention and individual, family and group therapy. They must have the ability to work independently and with others to build therapeutic relationships with consumers and families and function as part of a team.
The successful candidate must have a good clinical understanding of children and adult mental health/behavioral health conditions and the most current evidence-based practices used to treat various conditions. The candidate shall possess at least a Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology and be licensed within scope of practice (LLMSW, LMSW, LLPC, LPC, TLLP, LLP) in the State of Michigan. Must also be at least 18 years of age; possess a valid driver’s license; pass a criminal and professional background check, and have access to a reliable, insured vehicle.
