Field IT Support Engineer (IMAC Engineer | Installations, Moves and Changes)
Colchester based covering East Anglia | Midlands | London | Occasional UK Travel

We predominantly support enterprise level Commercial, NFP (Not For Profit) and Public Sector owned organisations with multiple locations and people across the UK
The Field IT Support / IMAC Engineer role is responsible for on-site support and troubleshooting across our clientsâ locations, installation and configuration of new devices, device upgrades, client on-boarding and assisting with IT and Telecoms projects
Key Responsibilities:
Provide On-Site Support and Troubleshooting
Respond and attend on-site as quickly as possible in emergency situations
Install new and upgraded IT and Telecoms Equipment
Support the installations of IT, Networking and Telecoms Projects
Support clients desk moves, internal office moves and office relocations.
Support the On-Boarding of new clients and existing clientsâ new users and acquisitions
Build in-person trusted relationships with our clients and make yourself invaluable.
Keep our PSA / RMM and Documentation System up to date (ConnectWise)
Provide on-site support and services to one of our key clients where you are based
Provide support to our Service Desk and Provisioning Team when not travelling
Experience and Skills Required:
2 x Years Microsoft 365 / AD Support and Troubleshooting
2 x Years Windows 10 / 11 Experience
Experience in upgrading laptops and computers (memory and SSD)
Cat 5e / Cat 6 Network Cabling, Patching, Termination and Testing
Anti-Virus / Malware / Web Content Filtering
Draytek Routers (or similar) configuration and troubleshooting
Ubiquity WIFI (or similar) configuration and troubleshooting
Used to liaising with third party providers such at Dell and BT
Exceptional customer service / customer facing skills
Experience working within formalised processes (ISO 27001 Compliance / GDRP) etc.
Happy working in a fast paced / rapid change environment
Renumeration and Benefits:
Basic Salary £27,000 to £35,000 (DOE)

Working Pattern:
9:00am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday with flexibility for travel

Your base location will be at one of our key clients located just outside Colchester

Occasional overnight stays
Regular visits to our King's Lynn (Norfolk) office
Interview Process:

Step 2: In-Person Interview at the Colchester office (60 x Minutes)

Pay: £27,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
