Area Customer Experience Manager (On Board) GPR – Northwest & Manchester

We are looking for a versatile person who will be working across the four regional depots in the Northwest and Manchester area and would be required to work at our Manchester Piccadilly, Manchester Airport, Liverpool & Preston depots to suit business needs.
As an Area Customer Experience Manager (On board), you'll see that TransPennine customers get the best service whilst on board our trains. You'll do this by leading and influencing a team of Conductors to perform at their best and fulfil our promises to customers. As well as line management responsibilities, you'll play a part in closely monitoring their safety competence.
To make the grade, we're looking for you to have worked in a line management role before. Your experience should come from a customer-focused industry and involve developing high customer experience standards. On top of this expertise, you should have a natural skill in leading a team, delivering clear and engaging communication and your team will be based at our York depot.
If successful, you'll be invited to attend a day of psychometric assessments. Don't worry if you don't hold Conductor competence; we will put you through the necessary assessment and training to make sure you're right for the role. There's a medical too, involving an examination of your hearing and eyesight, and a drugs and alcohol screening.
