With a sizeable portfolio of projects across onshore wind, solar and BESS throughout the UK and Scotland, the successful candidate will play a critical role in expanding the portfolio, from initial site identification through to the delivery of fully consented projects.

Key Responsibilities: Project Identification and Feasibility: Identify and assess potential sites for onshore wind, BESS, and solar projects.
Conduct feasibility studies, including grid connection and environmental impact assessments.
Project Development and Planning: Oversee permitting, land acquisition, and grid connection processes.
Manage planning applications and secure necessary consents.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships with stakeholders, including communities, government agencies, and partners.
Lead community consultations and address concerns.
Project Management: Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment and timely delivery.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with environmental, health and safety, and planning regulations.
Report on project status, risks, and opportunities to senior management.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Requirements Education : Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
Master’s degree or certifications in project management/renewable energy are a plus.
Experience: 3 years in renewable energy project development, focusing on onshore wind, BESS, and solar.
Proven success in delivering consented projects in Scotland.
Experience managing large-scale projects and leading teams.
Skills : In-depth knowledge of Scottish/UK planning and permitting processes.
Strong project management with the ability to handle multiple projects.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
Proficiency in feasibility assessments and financial analysis.
Competent in project management software.
