About Our Client
A new opportunity for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a leading business based in Horsham.
Job Description
1. Raising sales invoices, whilst providing support to other parts of the business as required.
2. Managing the WIP balances across the group, ensuring they reconcile to project and timesheet records.
3. Providing support to the credit control function.
4. Managing monthly credit card spend, ensuring all cards are reconciled and the correct postings have been made on the accounts system.
5. Supporting the team in posting purchase ledger invoices and expenses.
6. Supporting with balance sheet reconciliations across the group.
7. Preparing VAT returns.
8. Other tasks as required including general administration.
The Successful Applicant
* Experience within a similar role.
* May be studying towards an accountancy qualification (AAT).
* Strong MS Excel skills.
* Good attention to detail and well organised.
