Job Description
Work with community groups throughout N. Ireland to educate, support, and encourage them in the development of positive climate and bio-projects.
The job may be full- or part-time - negotiable.
We have offices in Armagh and Newtownabbey, but can work with groups throughout N. Ireland.
The salary is £32,000 pro-rata.
Responsibilities
1. Develop close, supportive relationships with community groups and schools in marginalized areas.
2. Deliver courses to them.
3. Advise, support, and encourage them in continuing or developing positive climate and bio-initiatives.
Qualifications
1. Care passionately about the climate and bio-disaster.
2. Have experience of working with local communities.
3. A degree level or equivalent professional qualification in a relevant subject and two years’ full-time experience working with community groups or schools.
OR
1. Five years’ equivalent experience in a post with the primary role of working with local community groups or schools on climate issues.
2. Be able to work on own but maintain close relationships with a supportive committee.
