We pride ourselves on our innovative approach to learning and our supportive, inclusive environment. Role Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Procurement Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement function, ensuring value for money, and maintaining high standards of compliance and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the college's goals and objectives. Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including tendering, contract management, and supplier performance. Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and internal policies. Identify and mitigate procurement risks. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders. Monitor market trends and provide insights to inform procurement decisions. Lead and develop the procurement service. Qualifications and Experience: Proven experience in a procurement role, preferably within the education sector. Strong knowledge of procurement processes and best practices, preferably within the public sector. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. Level 4 CIPS qualification or equivalent is essential. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of procurement software would be an advantage.
