About Harris Primary Academy Beckenham Green
Our small academy, with a single form in each year group, aims to provide a balanced, exciting and enjoyable education that prepares our pupils for success in secondary school and beyond. Our children are at the heart of everything we do, and we put them at the centre of every decision we make.
We believe in an ethos of being 'Ready, Respectful, and Safe', which is more than just words. It shapes our students' experiences from the classroom to the playground and beyond. This fundamental ethos prepares our pupils not only to learn effectively, but also to communicate appropriately, treat each other with respect, and stay safe. We aim to instil these values, ensuring they become well-rounded citizens ready to excel in the wider community and beyond.
We have high expectations – of our staff and of our pupils. We believe everyone can achieve great things through hard work and perseverance. Yet, we also teach our children not to fear failure. Instead, we view it as a stepping stone, an opportunity to learn, adapt, and grow. This balance of drive and resilience equips our pupils to face life's challenges with confidence and grace.
Our dedicated staff work tirelessly to provide an adapted curriculum that meets the strengths and needs of every pupil. We recognize that each child learns in their own unique way, and our teaching strategies reflect this understanding. This tailored approach helps us unlock the potential in every pupil, providing them with the best possible foundation for future success.
We invite you to join our incredible community, where we aspire not only to educate but also to inspire. Together, let's commit to excellence, passion for learning, and dedication to shaping the leaders of tomorrow.
