Electrical Engineer
Location: East Anglia (Mobile - Covering Norfolk, Suffolk, and Cambridgeshire)
Salary: £40,000 per annum + OT + Company Van
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00 to 17:00

Role Overview:

Provide general Electrical / HVCA / Building services maintenance support on all buildings and plant.
*
Implement all electrical maintenance and corrective works on-site in accordance with procedures.
*
Perform testing and inspection of electrical installations in compliance with industry standards.
*
Provide accurate feedback and documentation, including test sheets, inspection reports, and work records.
*
Ensure plant and systems operate at maximum efficiency and reliability.
*
Carry out remedial/refurbishment work following breakdowns or maintenance inspections.
*
Respond to reactive maintenance/breakdown calls and provide necessary remedial actions.
*
Assume the role of Competent Person (Electrical) as authorized.
*
Maintain knowledge of site system failures, causes, and effects.
*
Conduct condition-based monitoring surveys.
*
Perform minor new work installations and testing.
*
Maintain cleanliness of plant and surrounding areas.
*
Conduct defect surveys and provide reports as required.
*
Support the Shift Supervisor in technical reporting.
*
Provide monitoring attendance for emergency or test purposes.
*
Cover for shift colleagues during holidays and sickness.
*
Carry out other duties as assigned by management.
Candidate Profile:
Who You'll Be:
*
Hold an 18th Edition Electrical C&G certificate or be willing to complete the course.
*
Qualified to C&G 2360, with C&G 2391 inspection and test certification preferred.
*
Training or qualification in other building service disciplines, including HVCA, is advantageous.
*
Proven track record in a building service environment.
*
Strong communication, decision-making, and IT skills.
*
Understanding of legislative compliance and contract law is preferred.
*
Commercial awareness is advantageous.
*
Broad knowledge of facility management and building services engineering.
*
Commitment to high standards of quality, safety, and operational performance.
*
Strong understanding of health & safety procedures.
*
Ability to work under pressure and communicate effectively at all levels
