As a water only Company, providing clean, healthy water 24 hours a day, 365 days a year is at the very heart of what we do and that’s where you come in.\n \nThe role:\nAs a Technical Operator, you will work closely with a range of internal and external contacts on a daily basis. You will be responsible for maintaining the control and operation of strategic source water sites and will be required to manage your time effectively to complete a demanding schedule of plant maintenance activities.\n \n As a Technical Operator, you will:\n\nConduct basic electrical tasks.\nPossess the knowledge and practical application of technical skills to operate, maintain, improve, and repair equipment.\nMaintain control and oversee the operation of strategic source water sites.\nEffectively manage your time to complete a demanding schedule of plant maintenance activities.\nDemonstrate an understanding of the principles of site design and operation.\nUtilise appropriate safety and environmental procedures for people, processes, materials, products, and equipment to ensure a safe working environment for the entire team.\nEnsure that all aspects of quality within the area of responsibility adhere to local quality procedures.\nAttend to site and equipment breakdowns to safely restore plant supply.\n \nWhat You’ll Need:\n\nAn electrical background in the utilities or similar industry is essential to the role; a Water industry background is desirable. \nComputer literate (Excel, Word, Outlook)\nFull driving licence\nHealth and safety are a priority for all members of the production team.
