Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our client's team in Rotherham, working a fixed afternoon shift from 2pm to 10pm. The primary responsibility is to identify and resolve electrical and mechanical faults on equipment, guaranteeing efficient operations.
Main Duties:
* Detect and repair electrical and mechanical malfunctions on plant equipment within tight deadlines.
* Conduct routine maintenance tasks and document them accurately in the SAP system.
* Execute maintenance duties according to established procedures and quality standards.
* Nurture effective working relationships with colleagues and customers to foster a productive work environment.
* Support ongoing improvement projects by sharing knowledge and expertise.
* Implement new equipment installations adhering to regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
* Refine and improve fault diagnosis methodologies, demonstrating proficiency in mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems as necessary.
Minimum Requirements:
* Trade qualifications with impressive diagnostic skills.
* Background in PLC systems, process software, drives, motors, and ability to interpret intricate electrical diagrams.
* Previous experience with extrusion or mailer machines would be advantageous.
