About the Role:
As a Bakery Chef, you will play a vital role in the daily production of high-quality baked goods for our coffee shops. You'll be responsible for creating a variety of 10 to 11 different cakes and one cookie variety per day, ensuring they are made with fresh, quality ingredients. You will also work to maintain strict food safety standards, following EHO guidelines. In this fast-paced environment, your creativity and passion for baking will shine through as you contribute new ideas and keep up with current trends.
You Will:
1. Produce high-quality cakes, cookies, and other bakery items, using fresh ingredients daily for both of our coffee shop locations.
2. Ensure all baked goods are made in compliance with EHO food safety guidelines and allergen regulations.
3. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization, ensuring your work area is tidy and cleaning rotas are completed at the end of each shift.
4. Work efficiently to meet production schedules and ensure cakes are ready on time for coffee shop opening hours.
5. Support a positive health and safety culture, keeping the kitchen environment safe and clean.
6. Be adaptable and maintain a calm, flexible approach during busy times, with the ability to work across multiple stations when required.
7. Bring creativity, passion, and new ideas to the bakery, keeping up to date with food trends.
8. Adhere to all recipes and allergen control protocols to ensure the quality and safety of all products.
About You (Criteria):
9. Have experience in a bakery or kitchen environment, with a strong understanding of bakery skills.
10. Be passionate about baking and eager to stay up to date with the latest food trends.
11. Demonstrate a good understanding of food allergens and the importance of clear labelling.
12. Be time-conscious and able to work under pressure while maintaining high standards.
13. Be flexible, innovative, and able to bring creative ideas to bakery production.
14. Have a strong work ethic and the ability to maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
15. Show flair, enthusiasm, and attention to detail in your work.
Shift: Sunday to Thursday, 3pm till 10pm
