Paraplanner Location: Burnham on Sea Job Type: Full-time Join an award-winning IFA firm in Burnham on Sea as a Paraplanner. This role is integral to our operations, providing essential support to our financial advisers by preparing regulatory packs, managing client communications, and conducting thorough research and analysis. Day-to-day of the role: Paraplanning Preparation: Issue regulatory packs including introduction brochures and client agreements. Request initial fact-find information for new business and manage aftercare planning. Produce portfolio reports and update fact finds using Intelliflo. Process Letters of Authority and maintain updated records in Intelliflo. Use Outlook Diary systems to follow up on information requests. Conduct research using FE Analytics, Iress Exchange, and other financial tools. Prepare meeting agendas and presentations, including financial illustrations and spreadsheets. Write overviews and suitability letters based on adviser notes and templates. Handle application form completion and check identity verification requirements. Support advisers in meetings by taking notes and assisting with presentations. Paraplanning Follow-up: Process transactions to a compliant standard. Prepare memos for signed client instruction letters and manage transaction documentation. Create compliant new business files and handle valuable documents. Organise client medicals and manage requirements from product providers. Regularly check and update issued contract notes, policy documents, and Trust Deeds in Intelliflo. Monitor progress and chase product providers for outstanding information using Outlook Diary systems. Business Administration: Manage daily inbound and outbound client and provider communications. Arrange appointments, manage online meetings, and handle diary management. Update Intelliflo Office with all received information. Welcome visitors and handle telephone communications. Provide meeting hospitality and manage monthly and quarterly client communications. Assist with mailshot work and platform management. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in paraplanning within an IFA environment. Strong familiarity with financial planning software such as Intelliflo. Excellent research skills using tools like FE Analytics and Iress Exchange. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel. Strong organisational and communication skills.
