An exciting opportunity has opened up for a Senior Operations Manager. This is a new post to support a growing integrated team for housebound patients within their own home or Care home.
Main duties of the job
This post will have leadership responsibility for the day-to-day running of Team Up in Erewash and will focus on achieving high quality care and improving services.
There will also be opportunities to work with the wider Erewash Management Team to develop collaborative working with stakeholders from health and social care.
You will need to engage effectively with your team, peer group, and external/internal stakeholders to support you in delivering your key performance measures. This will require an inclusive, transparent, open approach to your role, where you are happy to be accountable to others and promote the concept of a leader who is challenging, whilst expecting to be challenged.

Erewash Health Partnership (EHP) was established on 1 April 2018 and is a single GP Partnership comprising seven constituent practices. EHP employs approximately 250 people who work within the constituent practices and central team.
Job responsibilities
The Senior Operations Manager will lead and be responsible for providing full line management to a team of staff engaged in the delivery and management of services on behalf of the Clinical Operations Lead and the PCN. They will provide proactive and flexible day-to-day support to the team and valuable management advice ensuring that a high quality of service is delivered with the service user at the core.
They will play a lead role in providing operational support to the Clinical Operations Lead and the Clinical Lead to ensure a joined-up and cohesive working environment.
They will ensure high quality service delivery and support with sustainability and growth. They will obtain valuable knowledge and expertise of the services delivered within the Erewash PCN and understand the stakeholders working with Erewash.
The post holder will be required to work autonomously in order to address issues impacting service delivery with overall strategic direction from the PCN Team Up Clinical Operations Lead and Clinical Lead. The post holder will ensure that key stakeholder relationships are managed with partners across the Health and Care system.
Work in conjunction with the PCN Team Up Clinical Operations Lead and Clinical Lead to plan, develop, and deliver a safe and effective service, in accordance with key national targets, service priorities, and performance indicators as set out in the key service specifications for the service areas. The service areas are Acute Home visiting, urgent community response, enhanced health in care homes, and anticipatory care.
Person Specification
Experience
* Demonstrable senior experience at an operational management level, ideally within the healthcare industry.
* Successful experience of managing managers/senior supervisors and large staff groups.
* Experience of managing large multidisciplinary teams.
* Successfully delivering change, projects, and continuous improvement.
* Experience of performance management, including appraisal writing, staff development, and disciplinary procedures.
* Experience of workforce planning, forecasting, and development.
* Knowledge of health systems e.g., SystmOne, Datix, Health roster.
* Experience of managing Quality and CQC requirements.
* Experience of key stakeholder management.
Qualifications
* Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
* Continued professional development - Leadership/Management training and/or qualification.
* Clinical qualification i.e. First level Nurse, AHP, Social worker.
