Community support workers to be part of the East locality youth work team based at Andrew Marvell YC (2 posts) North locality youth work team, which is based at Astra Youth Centre (1post) and Route One YC (1 post). This is an excellent opportunity for enthusiastic, creative and motivated youth workers to join the established teams.
We are looking for passionate individuals who will be able to demonstrate their skills in offering support to, and undertaking direct work with young people to improve outcomes for them.
You will work directly with young people to support their personal and social development, meeting the needs of young people across the Locality.
The role is varied and includes small group work and open access provision. You will be expected to contribute to team plans, you will be flexible to meet the needs of the Service. Training and development experiences will be offered.
These posts will work over two evenings per week, typically 2.5 to 3 hours between the hours of 4.30pm and 9pm.
