The successful candidate will be the primary intermediary for major customers, working with the Technical and Commercial teams to deliver outstanding customer service. Reporting to the Head of Technical, responsibilities for the role will include: Technical liaison with key customers, carefully handling food safety, legality and quality issue management Knowledge of customer quality management systems and their applications Generation, implementation and maintenance of the Customer Quality Management manuals Monthly KPI reporting on customer technical performance Key customer portal management Customer Complaint management ensuring timely investigations, resolution and preventative actions New supplier and product approvals Effective and efficient Customer technical liaison Essential / Desirable skills include: Educated to degree level or equivalent with experience in the Food Industry Customer facing experience essential HACCP and Food Safety experience Good awareness and understanding of food legislation First class communication skills and attention to detail The Company: Well established Family Business with more than 70 years’ experience Sourcing and supplying Fresh and Chilled products and ingredients for Pubs, Restaurants and Foodservice Sectors across the UK The working hours for the role are 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm.
