The Senior Logistics ManagerA unique opportunity to oversee logistics on the largest infrastructure project in UK history.This role offers the chance to take a strategic view of logistics performance across multiple Joint Ventures. Working as part of the client team, youll lead a team of Area Logistics Managers, collaborating closely with Main Contractors Logistics Directors to identify trends, share best practices, and drive improvements across integrated project teams.Your focus will be on the bigger pictureanalysing performance data, spotting opportunities for improvement, and ensuring environmental and operational efficiencies are achieved across the project.Through strong relationships, diplomacy, and rapport, youll influence processes and support the development of sustainable logistics solutions. You can expect to visit 1-2 sites a week, meeting with contractors logistics teams to understand their operations and assure standards are being met.This role isnt about managing day-to-day logistics but providing a holistic overviewbringing together insight from across the project to build a knowledge base of best practices and ensure the logistics strategy meets the demands of all stakeholders.What I'm looking for: A strategic thinker with experience leading logistics on large-scale projects.A relationship builder who can work collaboratively across contractors and stakeholders.Someone comfortable analysing performance and driving improvements.A commitment to supporting environmental and operational benefits at scale.
