Ardeta Search is partnering with a highly regarded accountancy practice based in Derbyshire, to recruit an Accounts Administrator on a permanent basis. About the Role The Accounts Administrator will play a key role in ensuring the efficient running of the firm's financial and administrative operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the team with essential tasks, maintaining accuracy, and contributing to the smooth operation of the practice. There will also be some ad hoc duties like front of house, answering the telephone and greeting clients when required. Key Responsibilities: Assisting with bookkeeping duties, including recording financial transactions and reconciling accounts. Managing client invoices, processing payments, and monitoring outstanding balances. Supporting the preparation of financial reports and documentation. Liaising with clients to handle queries and provide administrative support as required. Maintaining organized records and files, both physical and digital. Collaborating with the wider team to ensure deadlines and client requirements are met. About You The ideal candidate will have previous experience in an accounts or administrative role and a strong understanding of financial processes. Key Skills and Attributes: Knowledge of bookkeeping and basic accounting principles. Experience using accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, Xero) is highly desirable. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a keen eye for detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A proactive and professional approach to work. While previous experience in an accountancy practice is advantageous, it is not essential. Candidates with a willingness to learn and develop their skills will be equally considered. The salary is paying circa £26,000 Benefits
