Job Description The Project Quality Manager is the lead contact for quality in their area of responsibility. They lead a team of QA/QC Engineers and auditors providing a quality management service whilst ensuring that all activities defined, planned, and implemented in on their projects are aligned to the Management System, Quality Policy, and Strategy. Roles and Responsibilities: Leads a team of Project Quality Professionals. Ensure deliverables meet the project quality requirements. Manages the Project Assurance Programme. Mentoring and developing the Quality team. Identifying, and where appropriate, implementing improvement plans to deliver sustained improvement in performance. Understanding specific client requirements to define the Project Quality Plan (Strategy). Develop, implements and carries out scheduled updates of the project Quality management plan (Strategy) as part of the PMP. Leading Quality Risk Assessments with the delivery team to ensure effective solutions with the correct oversight and assurance. Professionalising the team through continued professional development, professional registration, and training across the team. Developing a culture of Quality by engaging with relevant stakeholders. Conduct quality assurance reviews and certify that all deliverables comply with the QAP(Strategy) prior to client submittal. Supervise quality auditors. Share best practice from the Quality Management Global Technical Network. Manage the Learning from experience (Lessons learnt) process. Achieve and maintain relevant ISO standards. Manage the Non-conformance process. Define Quality objectives and KPI’s. Measuring, Monitoring, and reporting delivery against agreed KPI’s. Reporting to the project leadership team. Evidence of developing a culture of Quality. Experience of managing high performing teams. Ability to engage, collaborate, and positively challenge. Good written and verbal communication skills. The ability to develop and present information. Analytical and observational skills with a focus on details. Confidence, persistence, and the ability to manage difficult situations. Understanding of quality standards, such as ISO 9001, ISO 19443. The ability to influence the senior management team. Preferable requirements: Profession registration of CQI, ASQ (or similar recognised Quality institutes depending on location). Relevant technical background. Ability to interact and adapt with technology. Good technical writing and communication skills aligned to client’s primary language. Ability to develop and conduct relevant training.
