We are currently supporting our internationally recognised private sector client in their search for a Senior Business Intelligence Developer. Role Overview:
As a Senior Business Intelligence Developer, you will be the team expert on all things related to Power BI, Fabric, SSRS, SSIS, and ETL Pipelines. You will play a crucial role in driving the company's data strategy and ensuring the successful delivery of business intelligence solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the design, development, and implementation of Power BI solutions, including end-to-end configuration.
* Manage and optimise ETL pipelines to ensure efficient data processing and integration.
* Oversee large data migration projects, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
* Develop and maintain SSRS reports and SSIS packages to support business operations.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
* Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior developers and other team members.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve the BI landscape.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Senior Business Intelligence Developer or similar role.
* Extensive experience with Power BI, including end-to-end configuration and deployment.
* Strong knowledge of ETL processes and tools, particularly SSIS.
* Proficiency in SSRS and experience in developing complex reports.
* Demonstrated experience in managing large data migration projects.
* Background in professional services is highly desirable.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
