This individual has a team to support her 24/7 with 6 hours daily 2:1 support for community access plus a sleep-in staff member. They communicate with BSL signs, PECs (Pictorial Exchange System), photos, and gestures. They are an energetic, fun-loving person who has a full weekly schedule of activities, which include walks, café visits, trampolining, cinema, Gateway Club, and regular short breaks and holidays. They also enjoy ad hoc activities like the theatre and themed days out like the winter garden lights in Bournemouth and the fireworks.
We’re looking for enthusiastic applicants who are:
* Positive, with a can-do attitude.
* Caring and empathetic.
* Passionate about enhancing other people’s lives.
* Willing to attend training as needed to support you in your role.
No two days will be the same.
