My Client specialises in the mechanical/industrial engineering industry and are looking for a CNC Miller/Turner to join their growing team Job Responsibilities: Machine Operation & Setup: Refer to technical documents to set up CNC machines and tooling, operate CNC controls with basic programming knowledge, and produce components adhering to company standards. Includes gearshaper machine operation. Quality Control: Conduct first-off checks, use measuring equipment to ensure dimensional and visual accuracy, and make necessary offset adjustments for error rectification. Maintenance & Safety: Maintain machine cleanliness, perform routine lubrication, ensure safety standards, and report defects to minimize downtime and waste. Process Improvement & Collaboration: Engage in Kaizen activities, collaborate with Production Engineering, Quality, and Supervision to solve problems, and optimize efficiency. Additional Duties: Perform assembly tasks and take on additional reasonable tasks or projects as required by the Manager. Skills and Experience Required: Experience in setting and operating CNC Turning, Milling, or Mill/Turning machines, with proficiency in reading engineering drawings and understanding geometric tolerancing. Skilled in using various engineering measurement tools and techniques. Demonstrates manual dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
