The governors are looking to appoint a passionate individual to take on the role of School Administrative Office Assistant to support our very busy office team. Cookley Sebright Primary School is a one-form entry primary school, set in the heart of the village of Cookley, near Kidderminster. Main purpose This role is pivotal in our school as you will be the first point of contact for many of our visitors and parents and it is vital you are well-organised and used to working in a busy environment. As part of the role, you will be required to provide excellent administrative and secretarial support to the Headteacher and other leaders such as the SENCO and Attendance Lead. This role reports to the HR and Office Manager. Responsibilities of this post include: Supporting the HR and Office Manager with her role, including: Visitor management as per school guidance and Keeping Children Safe in Education protocols (safeguarding of pupils). Supporting the Attendance Lead with registration and pupil attendance. Parent communications Administration of school registers (including lunch orders). Sending emails and calling parents as appropriate. Dealing with day-to-day parental queries and concerns. Being part of team providing administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team, as and when required. A confident user of a range of IT applications – knowledge of OneDrive, Word and Excel or Google equivalents is essential. Knowledge of ScholarPack and SchoolComms an advantage (but full training will be given) Work in line with statutory safeguarding guidance (e.g. Keeping Children Safe in Education, Prevent) and our safeguarding and child protection policies.
