Role Purpose: Our HR team is small and mighty, with an agenda for change across many areas of the business and a developing team to deliver it. The HR Specialist will be an advisor to our functional leaders, applying strong HR experience and expertise. You will develop and execute business strategies focused on performance management, career development and employee relations. In addition, you will put in place best practice processes enabled by our Ways of Working to help guide the businesses through change. What do you get to do? Translate the tactical business plans into critical HR actions, programs, and initiatives. Lead and deliver HR projects Partner with site management to evaluate business goals and translate into people and talent management and acquisition plans Plan and operate independently in making decisions, partnering with functional leaders and managers to solve complex issues and gain approvals when necessary Build and maintain confidential relationships with key stakeholders and managers to assist them in their regular operational meetings. Act as the change agent and collaborate with the wider HR team to execute and implement large scale HR initiatives and annual processes Work in close partnership with the HR team to support the management of their key projects and stakeholders enabling you maintain a focus on the business strategy Coach functional leaders and employees regarding employee relations issues including capability, performance management, disciplinary and grievances. Work closely with senior leadership team to unlock the potential of our people and create a clear path of sustainable growth: representing HR leadership as appropriate What do we expect from you?
