ABC Teachers is seeking a dedicated and experienced SEND Teaching Assistant for a full-time role at a respected SEND school in Stoke-on-Trent
About the role
* Provide 1:1 support in the classroom for students with a range of moderate to complex additional needs, including ASD and some challenging behaviours.
* Adapt to individual student needs, fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
* Assist the class teacher with general tasks, behaviour management, and material preparation as needed.
* This is a full-time, long-term position.

To be considered for the role of SEN Teaching Assistant you will:
* •Have effective communication skills and the ability to adapt to rapidly changing situations and the unique needs of each child
* •Possess strong behaviour management skills.
* •Build positive relationships with students and staff.
* •Be passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of young people.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
* Experience in SEND settings
