Warehouse Team Leader
Kirkby-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire
Monday to Friday 8am – 4pm
£33,000 plus benefits company pension, death in service, medical services, perks box and free parking.
Fresh Start Recruitment is currently recruiting a Warehouse Team Leader to work within a Global manufacturing facility who supply into all the major retailers. You will be responsible for the management of a team of staff to ensure self-sufficiency of that team, including control, planning, organising and motivating.

Job Duties –
• Manage HSHE ensuring a Zero Accident mentality.
• Despatching (quality, cost and delivery) and ensuring correct documentation is issued and that it correctly records the goods shipped.
• Develop good communication, team spirit and commitment within the team.
• Use performance efficiencies to provide data for targeted improvement activity.
• Identification of all forms of waste reduction.
• Driving improvement actions to their conclusion.
• Manage on-shift performance management, disciplinary, resource and incident issues.
• Attend and present daily review and other relevant meetings.
• Process appropriate transactions within local IT systems.
• Team development and succession planning.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience –
• Warehouse process knowledge including inventory control.
• Previous supervisory experience ideally gained within a change culture environment.
• HSHE awareness skills e.g., IOSH managing/working safely, First aid, fire.
• Quality systems awareness.
• Problem solving techniques.
• IT literate with experience of MS Office.

• Sound interpersonal approach.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.

• Ability to work with shift and other teams to ensure the sites objectives are met.
