The CNC Machining Technician Role requires team players with experience, skills, and knowledge in CNC programmes and parameters. The role requires operating to high quality/workmanship standards within a world-class manufacturing team and facility. Responsibilities and Duties: Operate CNC Machine centres to achieve the required quality and at the required output (twin horizontal twin pallet) Provide feedback and Ideas for improving the process and identifying & reporting reasons for any delays Follow planned daily targets to ensure the correct mix of work is completed to maintain/ improve Kanban stock levels and ensure no delays occur Ensure no faults are passed forward to the next process and highlight any concerns Experience : Ideally apprentice trained with previous machining experience (minimum 3 years) Previous experience of CNC Programmes & Parameters; PC literate with emphasis on Microsoft Excel; Previous experience following standard operating procedure for setting up fixtures and jobs Awareness of Health and Safety and COSHH regulations. Working Hours & Salary: Day Shift - Hours will be 06:00 -14:00 or 14:00 - 22:00 Monday - Thursday & Friday 06:00-11:30 11:30 - 17:00 rotating shifts (with regular structured overtime) Guaranteed basic starting salary £15.06 x 37.5 hours per week plus guaranteed minimum £40 per week bonus - £36,112.05 per annum plus structured overtime paid at premium rates outlined below: Level A - Overtime paid at premium rate of £22.59 per hour (i.e. x 1.5). Level B - Overtime paid at premium rate of £30.12 per hour (i.e. x 2.0). Day shift premium x 1.15 Plus additional monthly bonus aligned to business performance that equates to total bonus payments of £280 - £350 per month on average (for reference only).
