Full driving licence, with no more than 6 points, essential Word and Outlook fully computer literate Able to visit 3 properties per day to undertake rising damp, condensation or dry rot surveys and inspections. Then to type these reports up the same day using templated report forms. Working area covers parts of Kent and the south-east. Surveys are in mostly private residential homes or rented properties. Living within 45-60 minutes’ drive of Orpington. Latest damp testing kit plus updated PCA training available. Damp and Timber Surveyor, duties: Carry out surveys to locate problems and assess impact. Write up reports, backed up with photographic evidence. Offer recommendations and courses of action. Recording and maintaining accurate records Work within Health and Safety at work act of 1974 always and in all working areas. Perform any reasonable management instruction within time frame requested. Assist in training and mentoring trainee surveyors. Experience / Skills / Qualifications required: Qualified to at least CSRT qualifications. Certified Surveyor in Remedial Treatment or CSSW, Certified Surveyor in Structural Waterproofing.
