About the Position
Contract Type: Part Time 0.40 FTE, Permanent Role
Salary: Up to £30k pa, FTE
Start Date: Immediate Start Available
Your main responsibilities will include:
* Planning, delivering, and assessing engaging music lessons.
* Inspire creativity, musical expression, and technical skills in our students.
* Teach music theory, performance, and appreciation.
* Lead extracurricular music activities.
* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall music curriculum.
* Promote good progress and outcomes by pupils.
* Adapt teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of every pupil.
We are looking for someone who:
* Holds a bachelor’s degree in music.
* Has QTS (essential).
* Has at least 1 years’ experience teaching.
* Has experience designing and implementing inspirational and engaging schemes of work.
* Is flexible, adaptable, and enthusiastic.
* Has a strong commitment to continued personal development.
