We are currently recruiting for a sales consultant for a family-owned and operated interiors business for their store in Cheshire. This is a well-respected multi-million-pound family-run business (over 100 years) that is looking to continue to grow an already strong concept.

The ideal candidate for this role will be able to demonstrate a natural passion for sales (a track record of consistently delivering £1m+ per annum of personal sales would be desirable), an ingrained desire to provide fantastic customer service, and extensive people skills, with an established track record of delivering against sales and service targets in a luxury furniture or flooring/carpets environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Building effective relationships which will contribute to the store’s success through the deliverance of exceptional customer service.
2. Qualifying and understanding the customer’s needs, in order to sell the right products which will benefit them.
3. A fast-paced, target-driven environment working towards KPI’s.
4. Ensuring up-to-date product knowledge to adhere to customer expectations and queries.

Ideal Candidate:
1. A background in furniture or flooring/carpets showroom sales or management; delivering exceptional customer service standards in a sales or service-driven environment.
2. Possess a positive attitude to working as part of a team and on your own initiative.
3. A great sense of humour, able to communicate with a broad range of society.
4. Able to deal with the administration that comes with a successful sale.
5. Motivated to achieve targets and goals, possess a 'can-do' attitude, and have an open mind to learn from the best in the business.
6. Understanding that weekends are a key trading time and essential to your working week.
Rewards:
1. Basic package (c£20-£22k) with initial guarantees (£30k guaranteed for at least the first 6 months) with top earners earning £45-£50k (Product commission paid at 3-7%, 10% on extended warranties and annual bonuses c£4k).
