At Little Munden School we are looking for someone to join our Governing Body. This voluntary role, which provides invaluable support to the Headteacher and staff, would suit someone who has an enthusiastic interest in primary education and is keen to support our ‘Building Good Foundations’ ethos. The role involves attending 4-6 governing body meetings a year, which are a mixture of face to face meetings or virtual via teams. Meetings generally take place in the evenings. Governors are linked to a particular curriculum/subject area and would be required to visit up to 3 times a year to review and discuss this with the relevant subject leader. This area may be something linked to your own profession or be something of particular interest you would enjoy supporting. Governors are also involved in the financial and premises management of the school. Training for the varied aspects of the role is available.
