We’re looking for a Lead Azure DevOops Architect for a globally recognised tier one consultancy, working with a major UK service provider at a pivotal moment in their transformation journey. This role sits within the Strategic Infrastructure (SI) domain — a newly formed unit within Enterprise Technology, designed to tackle the scale and complexity of next-generation infrastructure projects. You’ll be leading the architectural thinking and technical design for PMO tools that support vital business functions like risk, contracts, and forecasting. From defining use cases and crafting solution architectures to collaborating with stakeholders and driving delivery, your input will be crucial at every stage. You’ll have access to cutting-edge cloud platforms like Azure, the autonomy to build things the right way, and the backing of a consultancy that truly values innovation, quality, and technical leadership. Key Skills will include: Deep knowledge of Azure – including Azure DevOps and Azure PaaS – and how to build scalable, secure solutions in the cloud. A natural ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable technical designs. Experience leading on SSO configurations, working across teams to make tools talk to each other securely and efficiently. Solid understanding of IT controls, governance, and the security side of enterprise architecture. A practical mindset when it comes to building and proving out technical concepts (POCs). A collaborative spirit – you’ll be working closely with BAs, PMO teams, and business stakeholders. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills – able to guide conversations and build trust across technical and non-technical teams. A passion for doing things right, and not being afraid to challenge the status quo when it matters. Experience delivering solutions within large-scale, fast-moving environments — ideally in energy, infrastructure, or similarly complex industries. This is an inside IR35 contract role via umbrella company, and may require 1-2 days based onsite working in Warwick.
