The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust is seeking General Practitioners to join our medical bank to support our Urgent Treatment Centres in the Shropshire region, based at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital and Princess Royal Hospital, Telford.

What We're Looking For:
Essential Qualifications
MBBS, MBChB, or equivalent medical qualification
Fully qualified GP with full GMC registration (without restrictions)
Registered on a Local NHS England Performers List
Essential Experience & Skills
Minimum five years post-qualification experience in a relevant specialty
Ability to assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of primary care conditions
Experience in managing primary care patients in an urgent care setting
Main duties of the job
The UTCs are co-located within the Emergency Departments at both sites (Royal Shrewsbury Hospital and Princess Royal Hospital) and will receive patients who present with a minor illness and/or injury.
The team will comprise of Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Emergency Nurse Practitioners with medical cover from GPs and trainees. In addition, the team will work very closely with the Emergency Department, secondary care, Social Services, Mental Health and other specialist services.
