The Ideal Candidate Will Possess: Strong knowledge of KS2 curriculum guidance, particularly in SATs preparation. Experience working within school policies on safeguarding, health & safety, and behavior management. An understanding of how National Curriculum test data supports school development. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver differentiated lessons that challenge and engage all pupils. Maintain high expectations for behavior and classroom management to support effective teaching. Use assessment data to inform lesson planning and drive pupil progress. Create a nurturing learning environment, setting ambitious yet achievable goals for students. Collaborate with Teaching Assistants to provide tailored support for pupils with additional needs. Monitor individual progress, particularly in SATs preparation, ensuring students meet or exceed expectations. Establish strong relationships with parents/guardians, keeping them informed about student progress. Take ownership of your own professional development, identifying CPD opportunities as needed. Working Hours: Full-time position (Minimum 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM). Additional hours may be required for staff meetings, inspections, and parent consultations.
