Progress Teachers are working with a Mainstream Leicester secondary school to appoint an experienced LSA who will support pupils with varying SEN & SEMH requirements to engage positively with the curriculum and make positive academic and personal progress.

Responsibilities:
1. Supporting class teachers / the SENDCO with day-to-day tasks
2. Following the school's rules and implementing the school's ethos and values
3. Being enthusiastic and promoting high expectations for pupils
4. Supporting students 1:1 and in small groups
5. Attending CPD to help you develop professional tools necessary to support a range of pupils with diverse SEN or SEMH requirements.
6. Building and maintaining a positive relationship with students, whilst being a resilient character
7. Looking after student's physical, social, and emotional welfare
Whilst experience within education is highly advantageous, we welcome applications from those with careers in areas such as youth work, social work, children's residential care etc., with transferrable skills that will prove invaluable to this role.
