Forde Automotive are a leading provider of car delivery drivers throughout the UK.
Our clients are leaders in the automotive sector and require car delivery drivers on a National basis.
All drivers must be competent with all ignition types and have excellent customer service skills along with strong communication skills both written and verbal.
The Job as a car delivery driver includes:
You will be working in a team environment, delivering and collecting vehicles
There is NO hitchhiking or public transport involved - you are taken from location to location
Key Responsibilities
To carry out single car collections and deliveries in a timely and efficient manner as directed
To complete accurate collection / delivery reports, in line with client and customer requirements
Responsible for ensuring reporting of all vehicle accidents, damages and faults in a timely manner in line with company policy
To complete any relevant administration, as required by the client
Ensure all customers vehicles and their property are secure at all times
Follow HSE policy and use PPE as necessary
To wear smart business attire and deliver customer services in line with company policy
Required Skills
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Deal with customer complaints and defuse difficult situations in a calm manner
The pay rate is currently National Living Wage. All positions are temporary but may and do lead to ongoing assignments/permanent roles
All applicants must have held a valid full driving licence for a minimum of 5 years due to commercial insurance stipulations and no more than 6 points accepted for minor driving offences. No DR10s.
